Experience the magic of every corner of these premium destinations, beginning in colonial Lima with its fine gastronomic tradition, expressed in romantic meals and strolls through the bohemian Barranco neighborhood and the city’s splendid old historic center, with its balconies, plazas, churches and mansions, as well as museums like the Archaeology Museum, housed in the residence that once sheltered the liberators of South America. From Lima you will fly to Cuzco, a colonial city built on the foundations of Inca palaces. Beyond Cuzco lies the Sacred Valley, with its famous local market in the village of Pisac and the great fortress of Ollantaytambo, from where it is just a short train ride to the enigmatic citadel of Machu Picchu. Take this opportunity to renew your vows there.

Day 1: LIMA (Altitude: 505 ft / 154 m)

Upon arrival in Lima you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel. With its mild climate, the Peruvian capital is a hospitable, interesting and gourmet city. You will be served a romantic dinner in your suite, followed by a candlelit floral bath.

Day 2: LIMA

Breakfast will be served in your room. Today you will visit National Archaeological Museum, which contains the most complete collection of pottery and artifacts from Peru’s pre-Inca and Inca cultures. In the afternoon you will visit colonial Lima; the tour includes the main attractions of Lima, including Plaza San Martín, the Main Square, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, Santo Domingo Church and the old streets with their colonial mansions and Moorish style balconies. After this tour of the historic center of the city, you will continue with a walk through the bohemian district of Barranco, after which you can enjoy a typical Pisco Sour cocktail, followed by an evening meal in «La Rosa Nautica», a seafood restaurant located on a pier, with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3: LIMA / CUZCO (Altitude: 11 151 ft / 3 399 m)

After a buffet breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Cuzco, where upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. In the afternoon visit guided of the imperial City of Cuzco passing by the main square, continue to Santo Domingo Convent built on the Koricancha, important temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun and whose walls were plated with sheets of smoothened stone structures. Finally visit the Pre-Columbian Art museum.

Day 4: CUZCO / SACRED VALLEY

After a buffet breakfast you will be escorted on a private tour of the main Inca sites of Sacsayhuaman (a great fortress), Qenko (oracle and sacred shrine), Puka Pukara ( administrative center) and Tambomachay (ceremonial baths). Afterwards, you will head for the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a place of incomparable beauty. The trip begins in Pisac, an exquisite little town of narrow, cobbled streets and wood-burning ovens. Above the town can be seen the agricultural terraces and stone structures of the Inca settlement of the same name. This community is famous for its craft market, where elaborate blankets, alpaca clothing and a wide variety of other handcrafts can be seen and purchased. You will lunch in a restaurant in the Urubamba Valley. Located at an altitude of 9 022 feet / 2 750 meters, Ollantaytambo has a mild climate.

This charming village marks the end of the Sacred Valley and its Inca past is felt everywhere. The upper part of the village is dominated by a fabulous temple and fortress complex. At the end of the excursion, you will receive a special welcome at the hotel, where your candlelit room will be decorated with rose petals and sparkling wine and chocolate coated strawberries will be served.

Day 5: SACRED VALLEY

After a buffet breakfast you will visit Moray this was an Inca agricultural research station. The series of concentric agricultural terraces is 492 feet / 150 meters deep. The Incas used this site to improve crop yields and create plants more resistant to pests and the climate. The tour continues to Maras, with its nearby are the salt pans of Maras, with their small wells which cover the hillside. Salt has been extracted here since Inca times (during the rainy season - from November to March – they are not visited). In the afternoon you will have plenty of time to enjoy the salts, oils and hydrotherapy of the spa, the perfect place to relax. After your adventures in the Sacred Valley, this will be an opportunity to enrich your mind and body. Finally you will be served a dinner in your room.

Day 6: SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU (Altitude: 8 167 ft / 2 490 m)

Today will begin with a delicious buffet breakfast, after which you will be transferred to the station in Ollantaytambo for the train journey to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will be escorted to your hotel. Today will be devoted to a guided visit of the citadel of Machu Picchu, «the lost city of the Incas» discovered in 1911 by the American historian Hiram Bingham. Declared one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is certainly one of those places that everyone should visit at some point during their life. Lunch will be served in the restaurant of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will be served a romantic meal in your room, in front of the fireplace.

Day 7: MACHU PICCHU / CUZCO

Breakfast will be served in your room, after which you will have the morning free to explore the town independently. Lunch will be served at the hotel in Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, you will board the train for the return trip to Cuzco, where upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: CUZCO / LIMA

After a buffet breakfast you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Lima, where upon arrival you will be provided with assistance with your connecting international flight.
